Business as an Agent of World Benefit

I trekked down to sexy Cleveland, Ohio two months ago to gain some much needed perspective, learning, participation, and connections in the area of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility). The conference, called "Business as an Agent of World Benefit," was an intersection of academia, non-profit, and profit organizations - though the participant profile was largely academic. I found the conference really eye-opening to the complexities of driving CSR... of which I was faintly aware.

I'm happy to share that, one of my absolute favourite speakers/speeches from the conference is now freeee to seeeee. I HIGHLY recommend finding some time (an hour!) to watch this video of Proffesor C.K. Prahalad. You won't regret it. The other speeches are of course wicked-good as well (woot for Ray.)

Well, that's a wrap folks. We just finished our December Q2 Board meeting. 'Twas a great meeting - lots of learnings and lots of laughs. Not going to lie though, we are all FULLY poooped our and realllly looking forward to heading home to spend the holidays with our families.

Can't believe we've already closed up the office and will be in Edmonton in no time. Wow how time flies.

A journey of the gingerbread.

So in light of the holiday season, the MC office decided to hold some festivities through the creation of a gingerbread house.
